To insert Google Analytic Code in your
blogger template is fairly easy and it will take at most 3 minutes to complete.
Step 1: Adding your Blog to Google Analytic
- Visit Google Analytic Homepage
- At Google Analytic Homepage > Click on “ACCESS GOOGLE ANALYTIC”
- Login using your Google Account
- After signing in, click on “ADD WEBSITE PROFILE” This appears under the current web-site
- Select (Click) “Add a Profile for a new domain”

“http://” is listed

and Copy the tracking code and/or Google Analytic Web Property ID, save
it to your clipboard

How to insert Google Analytics Tracking Code in Blogger
There are two ways
you can achieve this. Either ways works like charm.
- Log into your Blogger dashboard
- Navigate to blogger settings and click on Other tab
- simply enter your earlier blog's Google Analytics Web Property ID (This property ID looks like this UA-000000-01)
- Click Save and your are done here.
Method 2:
Adding the analytic code to your blogger template manually. Follow the
steps below to do it with this method:
- Login to your Blogger’s Dashboard
- Click on Template
- Click on the Edit HTML tab
Click on CTRL + F and find the closing head tag here</head>- Copy the Google Analytic
Code and place it just above the
</head> - Save your template now. I think you are done with this.
What Next?
Once you finished the steps above, you should be able to see
data in your Google Analytics account within 24 hours or less.

Moreover, you can also confirm your account within a few
hours to be sure that data has begun to
appear. To do this, take on the following steps:
- go to your report and set the date range to the current day
- If pageviews appear in your reports, it means that your property has started collecting data.
- If you do not see any data maybe after 24 hours, you can Troubleshoot for Common Mistakes.
