Our internet today is not only used for games and socializing but it also provides a variety of online jobs and opportunities where you can earn a buck.

I think making money from the internet can be very fun and easy if it’s done right. It can be scary because you don't know who or what too trust mainly because there are a lot of bad people in the world and they spoil the fun for us.

You can make a little extra money from the internet in a variety of ways: PTC sites, surveys, transcription, a little freelance writing... Major problems most people have is that they lack the commitment to maximise the profit from any of these ventures, and in some cases (especially PTC sites) there is scant profit to be had.

I use the Internet for researching on my writing tasks, and it's very helpful. I've been doing this for more than a year now and I'm quite satisfied with the compensation. However, I recently decided to maximize my resources and writing potentials on money-making sites rather than spending hours on networking sites like Facebook. I discovered that there are many legit sites for this; one only has to follow reliable links. Money-making blogs are very helpful in giving such.

In many of these sites you can do several things to earn extra income online ranging from domain name flipping, online surveys, pay per click, audio transcription etc.   

I've recently been using PaidViewpoint.com. It's only a few cents a day but for nearly no effort it's worth the 5 minutes to answer questions- it's much better than most survey sites in my opinion.

Pay Per Click(PPC):
This works when you sign up for a specific site like Neobux. And you'll get paid by simply visiting and clicking on available ads. Just a reminder, make sure to choose a legitimate PPC site where you want to work with and sign up for.

These sites provide a wide range of work categories which includes computer programming (JAVA, PHP, C++), graphic design and editing, SEO, Article Marketing, and many more.

Blogging
If you are a fanatic and an article writer who really loves writing then this is for you. Blogging is simple. By blogging you can advertise affiliate links where you can really earn from it. You can also make use of Google Adsense or Amazon.

is another freelance bidding site that I think is a bit easier to navigate than the others. It is a bit discouraging to see all the ultra-low bids that make it difficult to find decent paying jobs, but you can certainly find some gems on these sites.

Elance.com:

Elance.com is another site similar to oDesk. You can specify which skills you have and find freelance jobs that work for you.

Mturk:

Mturk is a pretty reliable resource as well, but it certainly won't make you rich overnight.

Freelance experience from a single parent mother   

I'd like to eventually do enough freelance writing to really help out with the family income. Right now I'm just dabbling in different sites while I take care of my 19-month-old. We're a one income family at the moment so anything I can find helps a bit. So far, I use textbroker.com mostly. I'd like to try writing elsewhere but I don't think I have the confidence yet. So, for anyone else reading this who hasn't tried writing online at all, you might find textbroker to be low-key enough for you, if you're a big baby like me. I hear a lot of good things about Elance, but I've yet to really jump into it.
